The start of this birthday month this year is sobering, but with the start of the second half of 2020 I’m also going to give life to a new place to share my experiences. We are finding new and creative ways to make life fun, while still self isolating and social distancing. This led to the birth of this website. I wanted a more formal way to document my making, house tutorials, showcase pattern testing, and generally create a journal for my rapidly evolving making journey.
This year I have been halfheartedly focused on finishing my large work in progress pile. I did a craft room deep clean in January and found more than I remembered. I work better with a deadline, so I’m going to say it here. I’m going to finish all these quilts this year!

Since this picture I’ve definitely added some unfinished quilt tops to the pile, but I’d love to clear the slate this year! I will do a few blog posts on the two that I have already finished and then document my journey of trying to elimate my backlog.
