So I introduced my work in progress (WIP) pile in my first post and since that photo was taken, I have actually finished a few. One of my favorites that I made last year is Jamie’s design, Ghouls and Gourds of Sewbrainy Designs.
I was one of her fabulous testers. I love decorating my house for two holidays, Halloween and Christmas. So this will be a focal point of my fall decorations this year, I even have a pumpkin tree…so I can put my Christmas tree up earlier.
I started working on this quilting at the beginning of quarantine, as a way to try some new things, like free motion quilting. I used Christina Cameli’s book “Step-by-Step Texture” to quilt each ghost and pumpkin a little differently. Overall it was fun to try something new and get a quilt off my WIP list!
